today is payton's 8th birthday! what a joy she is! funny, smart, kind, beautiful, super-silly, etc... i could go on & on!! well, she had a few friends over after school today and they did a little painting, mostly on their bodies & clothes. sounds fun?? well, guess who didn't make sure the paint was washable??????????????? poor payton will never get to have a friend over again! i'll forever be the mom who ruins school clothes! sorry payton...i've ruined your social life! :) so, after the good times here at home we went to my favorite eating joint...cici's!! what a way to cap off the night! overall, the girls had a blast, they made me crack-up, and the other parents were very forgiving of the paint incident. (who am i kidding?? what parent doesn't want to get rid of their kiddo for the evening?? it's worth the price of a ruined outfit!! :)
so tomorrow night we'll be celebrating with our family...here's what's on the menu:
