Our New Home...Hopefully...

well, they've accepted our offer anyway! granted several things have to fall into place 1st, but this is looking like our next home. i'll keep you posted...

these guys have been a HUGE help this week. mom has actually done most of the work, dad just provides the comic relief! seriously, i've never seen anyone pack like this chick!! and...she never gets tired! thanks for all of the help you given & will continue to give this week...hint, hint! :)

there was a lady at the top of the mountain who said, "What a beautiful family!!" she took their picture and gave them all candy!! don't you love reagan's jacket (on the left)??? that's shane's OP jacket from the 80's!!!

these girls were so awesome the whole trip...great skiers and so quiet on the suburban on the way down and back!!!

11:11 ~ Make a Wish!

Guess what my wish was after being on the road since 6:30 am???

yep, we had a blow out!! thankfully we had a whole slew of men, who changed it out very quickly. we got back to the church about 2:30!! we were home in bed by 4!! we had a great, great time, with great, great friends!!!

i must admit, i am very thankful that i am a sinner saved by grace...there was very little praising going on, on top of that mountain. i told shane, if i were church of Christ, i would definitely have to be saved again!!

these 2 pictures show the view i saw most of the time, minus the mangled skis!! i never could get up unless i took off both of my skis. we won't even talk about my graceful dismount from the ski lift!! i didn't even make it down the bunny slopes. i was so tired from falling down, taking off my skis, then getting up, going 6 inches, falling down, taking off my skis, getting up, and so on and so on. i finally just walked down the mountain!!! which is no easy task in those goofy ski boots!! but i really wanted to reach my goal of leaving with no broken bones!!!! yay me!

Spending the Day with Mom & Dad...

while most of the people enjoyed day 2 on the slopes, i spent the day with these 2...mom & dad...

i don't think i could have done this trip without these 2!! thanks for all of your help. we rode a gondola up a mounting during a snow storm. it was really beautiful!!
