I Heart Sunday Nights!

every sunday night we typically do the same thing...eat chicken, watch extreme home make over, and just have a good time. for some reason we all get along really well on sunday evenings?! tonight everyone pitched in to help me get ready for a math lesson tomorrow. wow, i didn't even have to ask for the help!!

reagan learned how to make origami frogs at school and he made me 4 out of $5 bills!!!!! what 12 year old boy does this?? money & chocolate?? anyway, this is something that i want to be buried with!! when he's being a stinkin' teenager, please, please, please remind me of this!! i know you've heard me say it before, but, man, i love that kid!!

there are so many days that i just go & go & go and i don't stop and appreciate all that God has blessed me with, well i'm doing that now! i wish i could write beautifully like so many of my friends, but i can't...so you just have to know that i know how incredibly blessed i am!!

i decided we needed to celebrate brody's birth. unfortunately, he couldn't join us, but a great time was had by all...especially, reagan. did i miss fat tuesday?? doesn't that mark the beginning of mardi gras?? anyway the celebration is in full gear at pappas!!

well, i'm going to have to say that the mccollough gene has to carry the looks...good looks, that is!! just look at my brother's kids, my kids, marcy's kids, now brandon's...hmmm...who's with me??

payton picked out a stuffed hippo for brody, she wanted to get him something that he wouldn't have!! we gave it to him at the hospital and when we were walking out she said, "i don't think brody appreciated his hippo!!" ok, not as funny now when i type it...but totally cracked me up at the time!!
