my dear friend carrie had my room all decorated for me on tuesday morning. this beautiful poster was in the hallway so everyone would know it was my big day!! don't you love the portrait her evil husband drew of me??? :) several people thought it was a picture of jesus!! 
sweet shane got me good on the night before my birthday!! i thought we were meeting the errington's at pei wei and instead all of these clowns yelled, "surprise!" when i walked through the doors!! i seriously had no clue!! what a great bunch of peeps to celebrate the big 4-0 with! thanks guys for all of the "fabulous" gifts and sweet cards!! :)
i'm not sure how many years we've been doing this with grandma, but it's been a lot!! as always, we had a great time and loved looking at all the little girls in their fancy dresses! thanks for inviting us!
you think she looks happy here, you should have seen her later in the evening when that ticket read $48.50!!! did i mention she won that on the fierce nickel slots!@!?? (yes, that's pure jealously talking!!) i wish i could have gotten a pic of sweet miss emily breaking the bank at the blackjack tables...i didn't know you weren't allowed to bring a camera into the casino. the nice lady gave me a warning and said they'd take it away and not give it back!! alrighty then!
the dynamic duo walked away winners!! me, not so much! i was willing to lose $50 (don't laugh brandon!) but decided to quit after $33. i'd rather go buy a purse! :) i might be a very unlucky gambler, but very lucky in the friens department! we had a blast!!
